Start the review with a clearer set of client records.
Work from the information your client keeps in Struxra. Ask about unclear transactions and carry out supported accounting actions with the client’s permission.
From client portfolio to accounting reports.
Struxra Practice follows the work in the order it happens, from open questions to reviewed records and reports.
Keep client work in view.
Open connected client workspaces and follow outstanding requests. Keep the reporting period and relevant records attached to the work.
- Connected client workspaces
- Outstanding requests
- Reporting period and records for each piece of work
Ask the question where the record lives.
Create a request about a transaction or supporting document. The client can respond with the context needed to continue the review.
Keep internal practice notes separate from information shared with the client.
- Requests about transactions
- Requests about supporting documents
- Client replies with context
Jo sees these as 2 questions from Priya on her overview, next to the transactions they relate to.
Review the route from category to account.
Map client categories to accounts in the business chart. Supported transactions can then be posted using the saved mappings.
Review exceptions before relying on the ledger. Some transactions require separate professional treatment.

Take the review into your next stage of work.
Produce available ledger reports from posted entries. Export an Accountant Pack containing source records and supporting review information.
The source pack and ledger reports serve different purposes. Check the reporting period and any unresolved items before using them. Accounting reports are for professional review. They are not submitted statutory accounts.

Access follows the client’s authorisation.
Practice membership and client access are separate. Joining a practice does not automatically give someone access to every client.
Available actions depend on the permissions granted for that business.
Keep private practice notes private.
Use internal notes for information that belongs within the practice. Use client requests and replies for questions the owner needs to see.
Fits alongside your existing accounting workflow.
Struxra does not synchronise directly with Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or FreeAgent.
Use the available exports as part of a reviewed handover. Check existing records before importing information into another system, so activity is not recorded twice.
Preparation, not filing.
Struxra does not file statutory accounts, Corporation Tax returns or Making Tax Digital submissions. Your practice prepares and files those using its own software.
Try the workflow with a real client in mind.
Tell us how you currently collect records and complete client reviews. We will show you where Struxra fits and explain the current limitations.
